About ICF High Country

Vision

Coaching is an integral part of a thriving society, and every ICF High Country member represents the highest quality of professional coaching.

Mission

ICF High Country provides programs, opportunities, and community to cultivate the growth of coaching and coaching professionals in Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.

Values

Community

We come together to share our knowledge and experiences to develop our members, profession, and community and inspire others to reach their potential.

Inclusiveness

We provide a safe, collaborative environment that supports dialogue and is open to different perspectives, as well as access to opportunities and resources for ALL members.

Professionalism

We consistently adhere to the highest personal, professional, and ethical standards. We model the standards and ethics set by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Community Events

We hold monthly community events for members and the public on the second Friday of each month at 12 PM MT. Advanced registration is required to attend. You can view our events calendar to learn more.

History

Longtime coaches Jan Salisbury and Dawn Monroe started our organization in 2011. The group quickly attracted a select group of coaches in the Treasure Valley, holding monthly meetings to advance the coaching profession and support a local community of coaches. In 2015, we developed our first strategic plan and elected our first Board of Directors. We established the group as an Idaho Nonprofit Corporation in April 2016, and are an IRS 501(c)(6) tax exempt organization. Our fiscal year runs from June 1st through May 31st.

Thank you to the following Charter Contributors, whose generous donations supported the launch of ICF High Country: Nancy Buffington, Tom Hardison, Terri Hughes, Vicki Lundin-Taylor, Michael Marvosh, Carmen Oldenburg, Bill Rauer, Jan Salisbury, Linda Secretan, and David Spann.
